I have been going through the posts and saw your post about Monte Carlo. I took my girlfriend to Europe on April 28th and got back to the states on the 18th and we spent two days in Monte Carlo. We stayed at the Novotel (spotless, like all of Monaco). Yes the cars were awesome and everything is expensive as heck. I played a little at the Casino Monte Carlo and at the Casino at Cafe du Paris just outside the CMC and had lunch at the cafe as well. It was interesting to see all the blue seats that were set up for the Grand Prix. Must be an eyesore for the locals.

We were there May 2 and 3 and the weather was perfect, although late on the 3rd some clouds and light rain came in. We got some of the rain as we headed for Cannes.
