the room at the southpointe is actually pretty decent. it seems to have decent action and plenty of games the times i've been there. virtually every poker room in town has $2/$4 limit hold em except for the big rooms like Wynn, Bellagio, venetian, etc. some places have a high hand bonus but it varies from room to room and even day of week. they run those promotions to bring people in so it's usually at off peak times like weekday afternoons and such. call around if you're curious.

check out www.allvegaspoker.com for a pretty comprehensive listing of all the poker rooms in vegas. they have a pretty updated list of what games are offered and when as well as customer comments. keep in mind that just because a room has 10 tables doesn't mean they'll have more than one game going though. Also, while $2/$4 is the lowest limit game usually offered, it may not be offered in favor of $3/$6.
