Nevada Inlay Fractional of the Day

On to Reno for today's chip -- a 2nd issue 50 center from Zimba's, N5667, released in 1971.

Holy kaleidoscope batman! I think Timothy Leary was in on this design. The lavender chip with seafoam edgespots knitted together with the large key mold is a nice combination, but the inlay is a bit crazy. Zimba's goes bold with the red stripes, but then lays in an alternating gold contrast segmented stripe. I dunno -- why not omit the gold? Or just make the denom box all gold? I guess that's why they get paid the big bucks.

Note: This is the last of my alpha sequence NIFOTD. I will circle back every day or so and post the holes that I have filled since I started. I had illusions that I would fill enough to get us to convention time -- not happening. More holes for the convention, I guess...
