There is more gold off Florida estimated at 1000's of times whatever worth was on the Titanic... and they didn't even have a casino (cards at the most). It's just too deep to get at... especially in that area off the Cape. grin
A few new deep-water coral reefs have been located off the Cape in recent years, but the closest they can get to study them are by using AUV's (underwater vehicles)... and those were found only 50 miles off the beach. The Club Royale went down in the drink over 90 miles off shore. Many ships sailed that same area where the Club Royale was lost, and it remains one of the most common starting points in searching for treasure which actually litters the ocean floor (tons of gold) from the Cape southward... Lots and lots of gold that's too, too deep... grin
