I got some N. Kentucky chips yesterday from Dave Hepburn. I noticed some of the Club Kenton chips were a faded blackish color. I have a brown $5 chip from the same place on the same mold. I wonder if these chips were used at the same time. It would be very difficult to see much difference between these colors in a fast paced game like craps. I'm showing a straight up scan of both sides of four chips and the color is all over the place. I have the variation of color of the brown Woodland Inn chips. The color on those two is even is even farther apart than the "CK" chips. I was wondering if the darker "CK" chip is just a bad brown or whimpy black. Do other Ky chip collectors see the same variations in their Lazy diamond mold chips?
