I believe that the chips have that a little ridge circling the edge are unfinished or "seconds" - not meant for sale by USPC.

If that green came from John Zoesch, then it may be a sample or a reject picked up by a factory worker.

I've seen many prototypes that have the same edge treatment. I believe Lyn Brooks, at one time, had a dozen or more prototype Dunes c&s roulettes. I believe they all had the same type edge.

I have a couple myself. I'll have to check.
