I just got an upgrade for my Florida green Palms C&S chip from John Z. today. I noticed that the edge on it comes out to a point like the reeded C&S chips but has no reeded edge. My other one is the basic smooth edge. Has anyone seen this type of difference before? Here is a link to one of Rich's posts about Reeded and non reeded C&S edges...

I cant get a good picture of the edges cus my wife left my camera at her work. Here is the scans of the two chips however. You cant really tell by the scan but the new chip on the left comes out to a point and the one on the right is smooth edged. I have seen this with a H&C and large key chips i have and was told they were unfinished or "unshaved" chips? Could this be in that category? One difference is the unfinished chips i have are more crude on the edge points and this looks very clean.
