Resorts, Atlantic City $5 "Baccarat" - I obtained this chip in 1995
from a co-worker in Atlantic City who put the chip in his pocket while
playing blackjack at Resorts shortly after it opened in 1978. These chips
were meant to be played in the baccarat pit only, however, because some of
them would wind up on other games Resorts decided to remove and destroy them
to avoid the mountain of paperwork required to credit the chips off of other
table games. This chip was only available in the "highly limited' baccarat
pit. Not many of these chips wound up in collectors hands (approx. 15
known). It is one of the most sought after AC chips.
