Its where a second (or third etc.) game is set up as a "feeder" game for another "main" game; when a seat in the main game becomes available, the next eligible player in the feeder game must move to the main one. Usually used in small tourneys or card rooms where people waiting are looking to start play. I like to avoid them as you are often moved to the main table as the short stack against some gorillas with tall stacks.
