Sure it is hot, but it's dry and there's plenty of air-con - we're heading to California and Vegas for 2 weeks in August and I can't wait - the only bit I don't really enjoy is the 11-hour flight, but it's not so bad when you are heading out on vacation - bit of a drag when it's the flight home though!
