The all-slots casino is owned and operated by the Tohono Oodham Nation. Please note, they prefer "Nation" and NOT "Tribe". The Nation is liscensed for four facilities and they currently operate three. The Golden Ha:san (Why, AZ), The Desert Diamond (Tucson, AZ on Old Nogales Hwy.) and the Desert Diamond (Tucson, AZ on Pima Mine Road and actualy outside Tucson city limits).

The Nation is currently negotiating for a forth facility to be located near Phoenix, off Tribal land! The Tohono Oodham Nation is interesting in that the Tribal Members span Arizona and Mexico.
