Nevada Inlay Fractional of the Day

North to another small town for today's chips. These are two of the handful of variations of Silver Smith's 1st issue 50 centers, N9127 (left) and N9128 (right), released in the 1970s.

The left chip is the 'tall, thin' denom, the right chip has the 'wider, rounder' one. Other variations not shown deal with the chip and inlay color. The chip comes in beige, and the inlays in beige and gray.

I like white chips, because when you have one in nice white shape, it looks ALOT different from one with table wear and dirt. And any other color used for edgespots or in the inlay gets hightlighted by the contrast (like the nice red denom). Although, I'm not sure why a casino might have a white 50 center, when it is going to get a lot of play and get dirty fast. The many white $500s out there (which I also collect!) make more sense.
