As Archie reported for me the surgery went well. Thanks, Archie The Post operative did not. She was to be kept one day & released. She is still in the hospital. Yesterday her blood pressure was erratic as was her heartbeat. She had spells of nausea & vommitting. She was kept in ICU with all monitors on & did not get up out of bed. She was give dopene to regulate the blood pressure & heartbeat.

Today she was much better. the blood pressure was fairly regular but low. The heartbeat was normal. She was given breakfast , but only drank the fluids. After breakfat she was given an EKG & ultra sound of the heart. After a visit from the cardiologist they removed the monitor from the carotid artery & removed her from oxygen. After eating a good lunch They tried to ween her from the dopene. The blood pressure went to low & they increased the dopene again. She spent a good afternoon & ate dinner. After dinner she was removed from ICU.
She was given a room in a restricted care unit. much like ICU but with less nurse visits. Now only moitored at nurse station rather than in her room. She was put in a chair to watch american idol. 1 Hour & back in bed.
She might be released tomorrow afternoon. ,but only if she can be weened from the dopene. Off to bed now. tomorrow is another long day at the hospital. Thanks, Al
