I highly recommend getting a casino chip price guide. When I started collecting back in 2004, I didn't have a clue as to: how many casinos are really out there; how many were out there; where they are; where they were; how many types of chips; how many different denominations there are; etc. I only collect Las Vegas $5 house chips and $5 movie/TV prop chips and it still boggles the mind that I have only collected about 80% of them so far. It really helps to have a guide whether it be The Chip Rack or The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide. Good Luck and enjoy the trip!
