For the most part, Vinny said that one player does not make the team. I also liked what Torre said, they need to just consider that Manny is on IR & continue to play as they would in that spot. Tough loss against the Nats tonight, after being ahead 6-0 in the first inning. But, they almost came back in the 9th. I'm kind of glad they got the winning streak out of the way now on the same day as Manny was suspended. It was going to end sooner or later. Now they can concentrate on the Giants in the 3 game series starting on Friday. If they can win two out of three they go on the road with a 6 1/2 game lead. Or sweep them again & make it 8 1/2!
