Chip Manufacturing Question?
When chips are made with same number of inserts as mold design elements, is there any effort to keep things lined up so the chip is neater and more symmetric? I show here, both sides of the same chip. One side is nice and lined up with inserts bewteen the Fleur elements. The other side is all katty whampy. I'm not sure how the molding process works, but shouldn't the fronts and backs be lined up? I also noticed the inserts are much wider on one side than the other. Is that just a pressure thing? Also, no need to tell me I have too much time on my hands.
