A similar Howdy mistake ....

Here is a chip that is listed as two chips in Howdy's c&s book. Both sides of the same chip are shown:

The dark green is the same on both sides. Note that the 10 has not developed the yellowish patina that shows on the DLC side. I believe that the 10 was a cheap generic inlay with no celluloid covering. Save 2 cents in manufacturing!
