Rog,
Illegal chip collectors are a close knit bunch.
If any of had the info the chips would not be UFC's.
Many of us have spent many man hours researching chips. I've been known to call dozens of people in a city looking for info. Some of us have even went to the city and researched chips.

I suggest you start by calling the library in Hammond. I had good luck having old newspaper articles sent to me.
There will be stories about raids and names. I usually call everyone with that last name. You would be surprised how many children, grand chrildren, or even nephews you get. Sometimes they have chips to go along with their stories about dear old grandpa.
Criss cross directories are a wealth of info. Most libraries have them.
