At one time, Al Rollins told me that I had the most complete run of Dupont Plaza chips and he was always trying to persuade me to part with them. With very few exceptions, all of the DP chips currently illustrated in my PR catalog are in my personal collection. If you have a copy of the Rollins/Davis 2002 collection catalog, you'll find that many of these DP chips which were offered for sale last night are not listed/illustrated. In fact, NO $25's from DP are mentioned in the Rollins Collection and the price estimates Rollins published on some of the tougher $5's (which many of us thought were high priced at the time) have proven to be undervalued ..., based on the results of Ricky's sale last night! Some of the DP chips that Ricky offered in his auction (like the $25 chip illustrated below) have never been seen before.
