I know it does but I cleaned the chip before scanning. And you can see the fuzzy picture under the surface coating. The casino opened last August and all of the chips still look relatively new except for about 5% of the $5 and $100 chips. If they were all worn except for 5% I would agree that they have some new chips with old ones mixed in. But the original rack never got to looking worn. In fact close examination shows the same wear on both chips edges. Sure looks like bad resin to me.
