I doubt we'll even have to be faced with such action... and President Obama will probably issue a pardon(s) if the situation even comes down to what you claim.

It's just a pitty we have to face Nations who we entered into treaties with now that we're going to need their help in the region. Here we agreed to do one thing and the Bush administration decided to do another (if found to be the case in an investigation).

I agree with the thinking of unfolding all the facts no matter who is implicated [crime]; Republicans or Democrats... since nobody is above the law in the United States of America... and if it's determined that no treaties have been broken for whatever reason(s), then all should be fine and the mater behind us.

We are guaranteed this as a democracy and a free nation...
