There was an article in Casino World magazine a while back by a security outfit in Scottland who explained that there were six (at the time) companies in China who openly boasted that they can copy any chip in the world and when placed on the game in Asia; where the action is fast and heavy, that their units will go undetected... Of couse the article was a sales pitch for the security company, but the fact that there are counterfeits out there reinforces what they claimed...
