Craps is my game of choice and in all my years of playing I have never seen where setting the dice affects the outcome of the roll. If the dice were simply 'rolled' it MIGHT have a small effect (and that is a stretch IMO), but on a craps table the dice roll and bounce off the ends of the table so the control is lost. HOWEVER... If you watch a game, it seems like everyone does it, even me. It is purely superstition but there is no harm in not pissing off the dice gods! LOL Also, when a die jumps a rail, I see people pull bets on the next roll, again pure superstition. I have only found one proven system to prevent losing and that is not playing
