Nevada Inlay Fractional of the Day

Today's chip is a 25 center from the Jackpot Casino in Las Vegas -- 3rd issue, N1799, released in 1971.

Another nice looking chip with the rich brown contrasting the bright white inlay and the center splash of yellow. That great Ewing mold dancing around the edges. The inlay is a bit slapdash, though. Not sure why the red T of Jackpot overlays the red slot machine, which is too big anyway. Nice cards, but why so small? The denom is off-center, arguably too big to fit comfortably. If the inlay text and pics are all red, why make 'Casino' in black?

Maybe better to just appreciate the chip and imagine sitting with a stack of them at the tables with the music of Three Dog Night, Rod Stewart, and the Eagles playing in the background...
