A Few Impressions
In Response To: Monument Park ()

Believe the hype.

I have been in quite a few major league ballparks. The best description if have heard so far of the place......"palatial".

I hate the freaking Yankees, but I have to admit, they know what they are doing. They take their tradition very seriously. You see it everywhere. As you circle the field level, all the concessions are crowned with a year number (like say, 1938)and gorgeous black and white backlit photos from the season. It looked like a museum.

I remember the old stadium, and had been to the remodeled 70's version over 100 times. This new building feels like neither and both at the same time, and is way more fan friendly.

Which is exactly the reason why I had to do what I did.......(see part 3).
