This the best little whor house in Texas, now Nv. opened 1830 in west Tx. the name chicken ranch, was because they catered to ranchers,soldiers. during the Civil war. Chickens were traded for services. Later cattle drives with cowboys were customers. Then the oil boom, with oil workers customers.Then world War !! its customers from near by military bases. It grew to world wide reputation, of finest girls in the world. Lyndon Johnson paid a historic visit. In 1973 the sheriff closed the ranch, after 130 yrs. of operation. Then in 1978 the Broadway play on Broadway was a big hit, starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton. In 1982 the ranch reopened on the Clark county line near Pahrump, 50 miles from Vegas. It has legally been in business ever since.

The above Menu was printed in 1982, eight pages of what is available(in very clear details). My son found this in some old cartons he had stored for the last 20+ yrs. My son now 45 yrs old told me he went with some buddies when they were 21, on a Vegas trip. He remained in the lounge waiting for his buddies, and played a couple of slot machines they had, also picked up a couple of silver like tokens good for drinks or services at the ranch. I'm still looking for those items.
