You bring up a great point Brent

I had a number of my chips displayed on the wall. Of course I selected by best and rarest as well as my asthetic favorites.

One day I happen to drive by a home that was engulfed in flames and thought what if that was mine? Soon I started thinking about the house that were flooded, robbed etc. I travel frequently for work and play and my house has remained empty for as much as a month at a time. Now insurance will cover the cost of replacing many of them should they be destroyed but we all know that the insurance companies value them differently and some chips are rare enough (one less with a loss of my own) that you may not be able to replace it.

Soon for a little piece of mind, I invested in a 2 hour rated fire proof, water resistant safe.

Better security, less visibility. Any happy medium solutions out there?
