There seems to be a shift to simpler in chip designs for LV recently...(a reflection of the economy?) M, Wynn, new Bally's, new Hooters etc.etc. The thing that I don't understand is the casinos dogged determination to maintain white as a traditional $1 chip. They look great on day 1 and filthy soon thereafter. The are treated with low regard and often end up dirty, unloved and unwanted. I see where some casinos are edging back to using Ike's for $1 slots. I think the new prez or Sacajawea dollars would eliminate the dirty whites, and overcome the complaint that the Ike's are too large and too heavy. Many use JFK halves, why not $1.
