Steven--The story on your .999 silver
Bicycle club gift piece. They were given out opening night of the Bicycle club. I was there and got one. They advertised the first 100 or 200 customers, would recieve the gift, I can't remember the exact number. Anyway, I have kept mine for all these years, a few years ago I ran into Mr Kelegain the part owner on the Bicycle club now and owner of the Ocean Eleven card club in Oceanside, Ca. I asked him about this gift piece, he told me an interesting story. The first owners of the Bicycle Club got into trouble with the Feds. and the Feds took over the running of the club for a couple years, then sold the club to Mr. Kelegian and partners some years ago. (I can't remember the exact dates) Anyway Mr. Kelegian said in the office was a large safe, that nobody had the combination for. They had a lock smith open the safe and all that was in it, was about 40 of these .999 silver gift items. He told me he thinks they are scarce, and is holding them as a collector items and think they will be special in the future. I told him I got one opening night, he said hold on to it as value will be special in the future. This conversation was about 7 years ago. I really don't know what they are worth, I have never seen another one for sale. Also, not sure what to call this item. But it's real pretty.
