...you're on your way to being quit 100%. I quit about 18 years ago and the results were pretty immediate. Quit coughing and just felt all around better. Had an active job at the time, busting freight off the back of my truck, stacking it up and hand-trucking it to where ever the customer needed. Don't be hesitant to check with your employer and see if they can't provide you with some means to have a resperation filter. After spending some much time the last 15 years in an industrial setting, I use anything I can to protect myself, ear protection, hard hat, PPE, etc., it's really the best thing to do.
Even though after all this time, I know I could light up a stick and smoke it no problem, I will not and have no real urge to. When I quit, I guzzled fruit juice to replace the buzz of a cigarette and would inhale deeply through an imaginary ciggy. That always would chase the desire away. Sounds as if you've gotten yourself most of the way done my friend and you want to quit! Part of being a chipper like you and me is that our ethics require us to complete our promises so we're actually just coasting now. You know what being a chipper is about so you're there!
