Smoking!!!! Well Everyone,,,,,,,, I think I can finally say that I have quit smoking after 28+ years!! I really didn't have much of a choice though. My wife made me an appointment with a Doctor and they did all kinds of tests and they want to do more,,,,,, that will have to wait. lol I have Severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He told me the damage is already done but quitting would help a little. There is no cure, it is not reversible, etc. He said before long I will end up on oxygen and die a lot sooner than I should have for my age. I don’t think this is the end of the world. There are hundreds of people that have this and I am dealing with it everyday & night. Do any of you all have this? What do you do to relieve the stress of not being able to breathe? Sometimes I really dislike these foreign blunt speaking, straight to the point doctors. lol You can read about it. It is the 4th leading cause of uh-0h in the world. He told me to not be around any dust!! I crush Carbide & Tungsten for a living!!!! I can't quit my job. With all the places closing and laying off where else can I go? My wife can't work and we are waiting for them to set up the next back surgery. We have to have our insurance. I have not had a cigarette since the 9th. I am on Stage 2 of the Patches and with all the mess that I go through everyday I think I have done pretty good. I haven't whipped anyone or yelled at them,,,,, etc. lol Anyway, I wanted to share that with you all "My Family". Anyway, enough rambling for now.
