Great story as always, Brent. I got "star struck" (or should I say, "chip struck"?) when I first contacted James Campiglia about his awesome price guide, and Robert Eisenstadt for the letter chips he had (his mold project site is nothing but genius). And I was tickled pink when Greg Susong said he didn't have a Michigan chip that I had just gotten; I giggled fiercely when I saw he scanned and posted the Island chip I sent him (I still go look every once in awhile; it's CG18323 on
http://www.chipguide.com/cgi-bin/search/search.cgi?id=mihair). It's funny to some, I guess; but the sites these and other people like Barry of homepokertourney.com and Greg of chiptalk.net are so well run and put together that I sometimes forget that these people are just ordinary folk who provide an extraordinary service to young chippers like me.
