Is that really necessary? I almost never have money in my Paypal account because I don't sell...so I really don't know. But, I do have a bank account listed with Paypal (required by Paypal ) that they use as my 'default' payment method. Like you, I prefer to pay with my credit card so, when paying for anything, I click on the "Other payment options", then choose my credit card as my payment method.
