I thought the silver eagle was struck in Philadelphia, with the collector versions made at West Point. I know they have ceased all silver eagle production now, but where were they made? All versions were sold by the US Mint.

By the way, does anybody know why the US govt would say they are stopping production of bullion coins because the demand is too high!
