President Bush also mentioned (in the same breath): "If you lost your job, go to school to learn a new trade; I'll even help pay for it."

How many of those who lost their jobs took President Bush up on his offer... or even went out to seek employment paying less than what they would receive in unemployment comp... is the big question.
