Discrimination is still alive, but I assure you it is fading fast. What I remember as a young boy compared to today is in no way close to what it was, and you know it. A black man has a harder time than a white man today I agree, but not much harder, and it's hard for ANY man today. Social and moral decay has hurt black society badly; the white community is following closely behind. Bill Cosby and others have expressed warnings to the black community and been ostracized for speaking out and called "Uncle Tom" by other blacks. Entitlement, lack of motivation, drugs, education as well as moral decay has a number of black leaders sounding the alarm. Those problems are not isolated to black communities, no they are everywhere.
It's about time to stop pussie-footing around and call it as it is. People, black and white, are accountable.
