Humor is a funny thing (no pun intended). I have a hard time thinking of a joke where someone or something is not targeted. Jokes poke fun at each other, ourselves as well as groups and situations in most all jokes someone with very thin skin could accuse the teller of being insensitive, racist, sexist, or a host of other things. What do you call a blonde that tells a blonde joke? Or a black that tells a black joke? Or a handicapped person telling a joke about being handicapped? Seems that is OK. But that same joke being passed on becomes lame and insulting. It seems that when a black person is referenced and any way sets off the most fireworks (others do to but racial things are most volatile). Ever heard of Richard Pryor, Red Foxx, Eddie Murphy, just to name a few? Well, they made a career from dirty, sexual, and racist comedy. Tell a white person the same joke you heard from Red Foxx and you are labeled racist. Double standard? Yes, it's being politically correct and guilt for being white (and not black as the originator of the joke was). I worked with a couple of black men that were comedians! They kept me in stitches, I can't tell you how many fried chicken or watermelon jokes I heard from those two, but they told many other jokes too. Some of the funniest black jokes I ever heard came from them. Did those jokes make me racist? No. Were they funny? You bet! Why were these OK? Because I respected them, so it was OK to laugh at them. Plus they poked fun at me too. (Maybe I was too stupid to see they were insulting me)

Heard a funny dumb blonde joke? Sure we all have, does that make us actually believe all blonde people are stupid? No. Is it funny? Yes.

I agree there are some jokes that go too far and are intended to offend and are very hate centered. Those are wrong.

Life without laughter is a death sentence. Lighten up. There's plenty of crap out there to get wound up over already without being so touchy! OK time to bash the idiot now... hahaha
