This did not make it into the latest edition of "The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide, although the font and inlay styling of the chip are similar to the rest of the 6th issue.
I don't have a lot of info on this chip-- It seems to have been released at about the same time of many other more recent Vegas poker $20s; perhaps this one was also for use in the poker room. However, it might have also been for Pai Gow or some other game where a $20 is useful. Or, they may have just known that I would get one if they released it, and that was incentive enough.
In any case, I like the colour combinations on this one-- a very visually appealing chip. I got this one from David Spragg on a trade-- my first of several great transactions with him. He has also hooked me up on a couple of my better bicentennial chips-- always excellent quality at reasonable prices.
