The font on the c&s looks a lot like the font on the ashtrays and on Charles' roulette chip. Is there an chance that the North Shore Club opened in 1936 as a private club but went public (I assume it is a public place) in 1955? With all the fonts available, for the two (C&S and ashtray) to have such similar fonts seems odd (if, in fact, they are from different places)
