I really thought Herbst Gaming would fight-like-hell to retain ownership of it's Paradise and Flamingo Casino (Terrible's) in Las Vegas. I KNOW that casino is still making money.
Darrell and I stayed there on a comp last summer. We weren't expecting much, but were very surprised and happy with our room in the new tower....even a door out to our own private patio.
Pool was VERY nice and peaceful. Lots of shade, privacy,and only a few steps from our back door.
All the room controls (AC, heat, etc) were on the wall next to the flat screen, with a coffee maker and Nintendo in the room (no, we didn't play it). Overall we really liked Terrible's and would gladly pay to stay there again...holy cow, did I just say "pay"!?
We were treated very well by all the staff. I hope not too much changes.
