I don't collect tokens or SS, but there have been some very beautiful ones posted here and there during the year. Not being able to remember what I did yesterday, I am at a loss to recall when/where I saw them. Like you say chips are a bit easier, but still without knowing what all is out there I feel unqualified to nominate.

In bank note collecting, we do the same thing "Bank Note of the Year", and each quarter in the IBNS magazine all of the new currencies being released for that 3 month period are listed. This helps collectors stay abreast of new issues that might be overlooked that they might want to acquire. With that it is easy to make a nomination by picking up the last 4 issues of the IBNS magazine. I wish there was some way to do the same with chips, tokens, and etc. the participation I think would greatly improve. Now, just WHERE/HOW to GET that information to publish!
