I'll try to keep this brief.
We married in 1980. Came to Vegas on our Honeymoon. One thing led to another
& we started collecting $1 Slot tokens which Rapidly advanced to $ 1 chips.
From there it went to $ 5 chips & continued up to $25. We became obsessed with
ANY Casino item we could hold in our hand. We had ashtrays & dice but quit
collecting them. Another story. My job at Fords in Michigan gave me 4 day weekends
every 3rd weekend so we did a lot of traveling looking for Casino items etc. this
is where we had the chance to attend a lot of openings of Casinos all over.
We were also Antique & Collectible dealers that set up in Malls around the State
of Michigan in addition to my job at Fords. I would take her to the shows, set up
and be with her on weekends since I worked the MIdnight shift. We loved everything
and we did it together. Remember it was 28 years of collecting. Hope this gives
you a little incite into the two of us.
