I think L.A. did what it had to, to remain competitive in the weak NL west.
Manny is a stud, even with all the baggage he brings with him.
Just look at his stats from just the short time he was with the Dodgers last year!
Of course, they're prepared to pay him a boatload for his services,
and that alone could come back to haunt that team.
But Manny is the kind of rare player that opposing teams have to adjust for,
much like the problems Bonds created for opposing teams when he was playing for the Giants.
Now, we will just have to wait and see how his personality plays into all of this
if everything doesn't go along smoothly.
