I moved to Las Vegas last week, and to celebrate my arrival I'll offer a contest, with the winner receiving a $1 chip from the new M resort in almost uncirculated condition.

It's a two-part contest. First, guess the number of states I passed through on my trip, counting my former state and Nevada. Then, guess the number of miles I drove without going over the total. You have to guess the number of states correctly to be eligible; then I'll start calculating the mileage guesses.

The contest is open only to members. Please include your first and last names and membership number in the post with your guess in the subject line, as in 50/5,000, if you think I hit all 50 states and traveled 5,000 miles.

Many of you know where I used to live and will have an advantage, although I've told the final mileage number to no one.
