and I'm taking it personally. This man has been my doctor since the mid-70's. He knows/knew me from head to toe. He was there when I almost bled to death internally in 1985. He has been there for migraine treatments, the flu, every little thing that has caused me some panic in one way or another. I trusted him with every medical issue I've faced as an adult. Now I have to find a stranger to enlist the same level of confidence, trust and personal knowledge of me. I can transfer my records to a new physician, but they won't know me just from those records. Doc Jerry is only 3 years older than I am. Long ago I figured we'd reach retirement age at about the same time. I was wrong, and that time frame mesh isn't because either of us got lazy or died. It is because of the ever increasing move toward socialized medicine by Democrats.
