I don't think Obama hedged on withdrawal plans since during his well-thoughout campaign messages he noted within a 16-month period for withdrawal and said he will consult the opinions of military leaders. Today he said that process has been completed and announced the adjusted timeframe.
McCain was just as willing to go into Afghanistan and even mentioned that he knows where Osama is and how to get him.
Today McCain agreed with Obama's plan.
The only thing that I didn't like hearing today (and somewat brushed over) was the term "misplaced Iraqis" which I hope doesn't kind of imply that perhaps tens of thousands of them being brought into our country. Something I am dead against.
