I guess to answer that I would have to say old card room and illegals. For some reason I just like the older lettered chips. Why, I don't know. I do get chips here and there as does everyone and I sell or trade them.

I am a coin collector and have been all my life. I recently found out Archie and I have old Half Dollars in common. My oldest is the first US half minted. 1794. It is slabbed and in fine condition. I am a half collector.

Also I am silver strike collector and will just about always trade for them.

And now I am getting into chipping. And I have already learned that I know nothing and there is soooooooooooo much to learn in this hobby. I have now the Chip, Check and Token Guide. I am getting others as well. I learned along time ago to be in a hobby is to read and be informed.
