In all my years collecting this is the second time I have done this! I am sick about it. (But I am the one to blame)

Last week I posted a 1,000 Franc note then later posted that I had bought the 'mate' to it, a 100 Franc note. It was the same note but the Franc had been devalued and the same note was reprinted with the loser denomination. I bought this note on eBay and overpaid because I needed that note and it was in very nice shape. It was coming from a collector in South Korea. It came in today's mail properly 'card boarded' for stiffness so it would not bend, nest I opened it to find the person packaging it put it in a plastic sleeve and had used what seemed like a ROLL of tape to secure it. I picked at it and picked at it, finally got a razor blade and surgically cut away all the crap. Only to pull the note out and found it had been taped in the sleeve. I tore the note before I realized a corner had tape on it. It was not a cheap note and now the value is about 1/3 of what it was. BUT see the NEXT notes I received today from a NON-Banknote collector.

I have even had notes packed in BUBBLE WRAP! (You KNOW what those looked like on arrival!!)

These were placed between cardboard and NO TAPE- (None needed, they ain't going nowhere) Notes arrive just like they were sent! A+ for THIS shipper!
