I ran across a video that explains the monetary system of the United States. It is factual information that can easily be confirmed (by googling or other sources). The information is what most people SHOULD know but don't. It explains the gold (and silver) standards and the fiat system as well as how the economy works.

It is a long video (42 minutes) and I doubt many readers will want to allot that much time to it. BUT for you who ARE interested it is well worth the time spent. It covers much information you would have to find in 'pieces' elsewhere.

For those few who DO watch the video, please come back and comment on what you think. It explains much of what you are seeing today.
