Viva Las Vegas...
Chris Hassler, my fiance and club member and I are leaving for Vegas in about three weeks. We dont have too too much money but are anticipating to have fun nonetheless. I think I might even check out UNLV and see what the Graduate School is all about.
I was wondering and sorta just throwing this out there to anyone that lives in Nevada or anyone that just might know... does anyone know where there could be a job that involves having a Bachelor's in history and is looking to work with archives. I thought the MOGH would be a great place to work but not sure if there is demand for anything. I have transcribed many documents and honestly am thinking about doing it the rest of my life. Chris and I eventually want to move out west and I was just wondering if there was any museum/archival jobs that have spring up in the area. I was curious to know so I have something to shoot for. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. And also if anybody would like to randomly send us money for our trip, we'd greatly appreciate it.
Hope everybody is doing well despite the economy being down.
Thanks for the advice. hopefully and maybe prospective checks in the mail... lol
